However brilliant the architecture, no design can of itself deal with the rough and tumble of the quasi-legal world of planning. But even the most persuasive and successful planning consultant will acknowledge that an adept and thoughtful design response is key to successful outcomes.
It always seemed a little strange that these two core disciplines should only overlap in the large national practices when there are so many small and medium development opportunities and submissions that would have a smoother drive with a smarter approach.
